What makes the Lenovo K900 special? Well, for starters, this is going to be the first smartphone from Lenovo that sports an Intel Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ chipset, while carrying a handsome 5.5” Full HD touchscreen display to boot. The mobile processor that it uses will be Intel’s most advanced mobile offering to date, and with 2GHz of potential power underneath the hood, you know for sure that it is going to be more than capable of handling whatever tasks that you throw at it.

It seems that the Lenovo K900 has already begun production, where it will arrive in China’s stores this coming April 17th, which would tie in nicely with previous rumors of the device’s release sometime this month. Early indications point to a 2,999 yuan price point, that is somewhere in the region of $483 after conversion. At that price point, you also get hardware specifications such as 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory that is further augmented by a microSD memory card slot, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.
