Sony Xperia E Runs Firefox OS

They say that good things come to those who wait, but I guess there was not much waiting done over by the folks at Sony Mobile with the introduction of an experimental Firefox OS software running aboard on the Xperia E. There is one very simple for doing so – in order for advanced developers to give it a go, while receiving all the relevant community feedback along the way.

Firefox OS remains an unknown quantity at this point in time, being a spanking new mobile operating system that was built nearly all of it, upon open web standards, and Sony Mobile certainly has more than just a passing interest as to what their team up with Firefox OS is capable of delivering. Will the Android-only Xperia range find users falling away from Google’s mobile operating system, and move on to Firefox OS down the road?
