If you’re into wireless charging, you’re probably aware that wireless charging mats are a bit big and can take up a fair bit of desk space. It is a bit ironic considering that many people believe that wireless charging will actually reduce desk clutter. In any case if you’re looking for a wireless charger that has a smaller footprint, LG might have something for you in the form of the WCP-300. This wireless charger was unveiled by LG and according to the South Korean company, they are calling this the world’s smallest wireless charger. This charger will work with Qi compatible devices, such as the Google Nexus 4, or even LG’s own Android smartphones such as the Optimus G Pro, Vu II and LTE III. At the moment the wireless charger will be sold in South Korea for around 65,000 Won which is about $60. LG plans to start selling them around the world eventually, but no specific dates have been mentioned.
