HTC Wants To Improve On Smartphone Cameras

Did you know that the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami in 2004 was the first global news event where most of the footage came from citizen journalists who are equipped with a camera phone, instead of footage from professional news crew? 2011 also marked HTC’s foray into a 3D phone that did not require one to wear 3D glasses, just like the Nintendo 3DS.

Well, the final entry in the infographic had a statement that goes like this, “HTC kicks off a new sound and camera experience in 2013.” Of course, we are naturally curious to know just exactly what HTC has up its sleeves in terms of its photography and the kind of technology that they will pack into the handset, and will their current exclusive relationship with Beats also sound off (pardon the pun) louder than ever before? Only time will tell, let us be patient about it.
