[CES 2013] Lenovo does not only come up with notebooks, you know, as they also do a little bit of side business that concerns smartphones, and CES 2013 is the platform to introduce a quartet of smartphones that will arrive in China first, with no real word of whether other parts in the world will be on the receiving end or not. For starters, the Lenovo IdeaPhone S890 packs a 5″ qHD (540 x 960) screen with 220ppi pixel density and an 8-megapixel camera, running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

As for the IdeaPhone S720, this will be a smaller sibling with a 4.5″ IPS LCD screen of qHD resolution (245ppi), powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a dual-core MTK processor. At the back, you will find an 8-megapixel shooter, while the front has a 1-megapixel camera.

For those who are on a tight budget, the two entry-level A series smartphones would be the IdeaPhone A800 and A690, with the latter running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a single-core 1GHz processor, truly making it obsolete even before it rolls off the assembly line in this day and age.
