[CES 2013] Just where do you think that the line should be drawn when it comes to the world of phablets? Huawei has just expanded phablet territory to a whopping 6.1”, thanks to their Huawei Ascend Mate which was announced at Huawei’s press conference yesterday. Sporting a 4,050mAh battery which ought to deliver enough battery for an average day’s use without requiring you to rush off to the nearest power outlet before the day is over, other hardware specifications of the Huawei Ascend Mate include a 1.5GHz Hi-Silicon quad-core processor, running on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system will sporting an 8.0-megapixel AF rear-facing camera with HDR and a 1.0-megapixel HD camera up in front.

Huawei has also included dual mic noise reduction technology, Dolby sound system and stereo recording to keep audiophiles, or at least budding ones, happy. There is no word on pricing just yet, but it will arrive in China next month in crystal black and pure white colors.
