YotaPhone From Russia Sports Two Displays

Now, a phone with two displays are not new at all. Motorola more or less ushered in the age of dual display phones with their clamshell form factors, but back then, the secondary display was nothing to shout about, being a casual screen to show off the barest essentials. The YotaPhone from Russia is an entirely different beast altogether – this Android-powered smartphone will feature a Gorilla Glass 4.3” LCD display in front at 720 x 1,280 resolution, while there is a 200dpi E Ink display at the back that boasts of a similar size as well as toughness.

No idea on the Android version that the YotaPhone will come with, but we do know that it has decent processing firepower with a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, armed alongside 2GB RAM and at least 32GB of internal memory, accompanied by LTE connectivity, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 720p front-facing shooter. All of it will come in a body that is no thicker than 10mm, while weighing just 140 grams. It will arrive in Russia sometime in Q3 next year, and we cannot wait to see how it shapes up against the competition then!
