Well, well, what do we have here? The first public launch of the Windows Phone 8 update has been called Portico, and it was Nokia who did announce that they will be updating both their Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 smartphones in the US with such a software upgrade. While some of us do not bother to figure out just what lies underneath the hood, some others prefer to get an idea on what is working there, and this could be why Microsoft posted up release notes for the “Portico” update on its Windows Phone 8 update history page.

The version number for this update would be 8.0.10211.204, and according to Microsoft who is rather proud of the changes in its messaging feature with this update, said, “You can now add multiple recipients at the same time when you send a text message and automatically save unsent text messages as drafts. You can even edit received text messages before you forward them.”
