When it comes to upgrading your smartphone’s operating system, the entire process can be quite a tricky affair, as there are the carriers to go through with the custom software and apps built into each operating system, not to mention having to work with the different kind of hardware configurations to boot. Well, Christmas could come early for some, or maybe into the new year, but Samsung has gotten this down pat – Windows Phone 7.8 is coming for everyone who currently uses a Windows Phone 7.5-powered smartphone from their stable.
No idea on just when does Samsung intend to fulfill this particular promise, but we will hold them to their word, and just in case they forget, there would have been hundreds of blog posts and news stories concerning Samsung’s promise. Certainly they would not dare to back out from such a claim then, no?
