Samsung Mobile Beam Projector Disappoints With Low Resolution

Now here is an interesting addition to those who have plenty of mobile devices from Samsung – the Samsung Mobile Beam Projector whose name does not leave too much to the imagination. Basically, this is a mobile projector that you can hook up to other Samsung devices such as Galaxy smartphones, the collection of Galaxy Players, while folks who use tablets have the Galaxy Tab family to play with it, not to mention MHL/HDMI-enabled computers. Sporting physical dimensions that are smaller than the Galaxy S3, endowed with a luxurious design boasting curved surfaces, the one major drawback of the Mobile Beam Projector would be its resolution – or rather, lack of it.

In this day and age, 640 x 360 pixels just ain’t gonna cut the mustard, especially when you couple that with 20 lumens of brightness and a 1650 mAh built-in battery that delivers a paltry 2 hours plus of use, which is not good enough for a full screening of the Titanic or any of the Lord of the Rings movies. No idea on whether it will ever arrive outside of Korea or not though, but no big loss if it didn’t.
