We do know that Samsung did introduce the Samsung Galaxy Pocket to the world some time back, and here we are with speculation that a sequel to the little device that could is in the pipeline, according to some rumors floating around. It is said that the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus, also known by its model number GT-S5301, will be headed for the shores of Europe in due time. The particular rumor hails from SamsungWorld.nl and Samsung KIES via a leaked ROM. It has been Samsung’s habit of using the number 1 for a plus version, just like how we have come to know where the Galaxy S is concerned.

No idea on what kind of hardware will the Galaxy Pocket Plus pack, but it would definitely be an improvement over from the current Galaxy Pocket that packs a 2.8” display, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a processor that chugs along at 832MHz. One thing that we do know is this – the Galaxy Pocket Plus will ship with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, which can only be a good thing.
