Facebook For Android 2.0

Anyone of you who own an Android-powered tablet or smartphone and have a social network account will in all probability use the Facebook app. Not only that, there is a good chance that you too, would have experienced your fair share of frustration in the current Facebook app since it relies partly on web-based HTML5 code, meaning the entire experience is not as seamless as it should be. Good news then – Facebook 2.0 for Android has just been announced, and it is touted to be twice as fast compared to what you are using now.

Facebook mentioned, “When you’re on your phone, nothing matters more than getting what you want quickly. We’re always working to make our apps faster, and in this update we’ve rebuilt news feed, notifications and Timeline for speed.”

You are now able to view photos in Facebook just about instantaneously – that’s what they claim, anyway, thanks to the new Android app, while being able to browse Facebook photo albums and reading the news feed for updated posts simultaneously.
