Acer V360 Comes With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Acer is not the first name that would come into your mind when it comes to Android-powered smartphones, as HTC, Samsung, Motorola and LG would be a far better choice. Not only that, Acer is also rather slow to the game, where they have yet to introduce an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered smartphone to the market, not until now at least. Our Japanese source claims that the Acer V360 will be the first smartphone from the Taiwanese company that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

What else do you get underneath the hood? There’s a dual-core 1GHz processor of unknown origin, a 4.5” qHD that carries 960 x 540 pixels, 3G connectivity, a 5-megapixel shooter at the back with a front-facing VGA camera, all packed into a body that weighs 140 grams and measures 132mm x 68.5mm x 9.9mm. There’s no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
