All smartphone manufacturers will definitely need to have a flagship device of their own, never mind the fact that the flagship device need not necessarily be the company’s best seller. It is all about the public’s perception and image of a particular company, and having a flagship device that can rival those found in competitors is a must. Case in point, the Sony C660X Yuga which is a sibling handset of the upcoming rumored flagship for Sony Mobile, the C650X Odin. It must be noted that the Sony C660X Yuga has already appeared in an AnTuTu benchmark, where it managed to achieve a score of 11,321 points, running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean at a 1.5GHz processor speed.

What else will we be able to find underneath the hood? For starters, there will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset that has four cores, (APQ8064 & MDM9615 with Adreno 320 graphics), although the Yuga does seem to come with a different appearance compared to the Odin, despite carrying similar hardware underneath the hood. We do look forward to an official announcement on the Sony C660X from Sony Mobile in due time.
