Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and S Advance jumps to Jelly Bean, gives Ice Cream Sandwich a miss

Since we are in the middle of the week, how about a wee bit of cheer? Here we are with word that the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and S Advance smartphones, with the former running on the NovaThor U8500 processor, will be jumping straight to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system instead of going through the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich route first.

This might not be officially confirmed yet, as someone from Bulgaria contacted the local Samsung branch there and enquired whether either smartphone will be on the receiving end of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and the pleasant surprise was the response that both devices will be jumping onto the Jelly Bean bandwagon right away.
