Sony Xperia J spotted in the wild

I do wonder just how many moles and informants does a website like Mobile-Review have, considering how they get the inside scoop on yet unreleased phones. Take for instance, the Sony Xperia J which was leaked earlier this year through benchmarks – the folks over at Mobile-Review have managed to snag some rather good looking, clear shots of the ST26i (if you prefer to go by the model name, that is). The handset itself does seem to occupy the middle class scheme of things where smartphones are concerned, especially when you take a closer look at the kind of hardware that Sony Mobile threw into the mix.

For starters, the Sony Xperia J will run on a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, where it will be accompanied by 512MB RAM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, USB support, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus capability at the back, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and of course, a 4″ touchscreen display at 854 x 480 resolution, which frankly, feels rather dated at the moment. All of it will run off a 1,700mAh battery that is nowhere near being of the highest capacity.
