Just how would you like your smartphone to look like? All suited up as though it is being prepared for a corporate boardroom meeting, or do you prefer to see it dolled up in a way that would make fashionistas proud? Well, the folks over at PhoneArena have asked the good people at LG just what kind of material is the LG Optimus G made out of, and the South Korean consumer electronics giant replied that “premium glass” with “polarized glass pattern” would be the flavor of the day for the back of the unibody chassis, meaning depending on the angle which you look at the Optimus G as well as light source, your eyes will be treated to a ‘Crystal Reflection’ design.

In fact, LG had even taken the necessary steps to register their ‘Crystal Reflection’ design at the patent office, so I guess you can rule such a design out from ever appearing on an Apple smartphone. The thing about glass is, it can prove to be far more fragile compared to something like plastic, so I would loathe to drop the LG Optimus G by accident.
