Are you one who is rocking to T-Mobile, one of the four major mobile carriers here in the US? If you have answered in the affirmative and do not own a smartphone which relies on a data connection most of the time to get the job done, then you might be interested to know that you were not the only one to have experienced a data outage sometime throughout the day. Now, it shows that data outages do not discriminate against the bandwidth you are using – it does not matter if you are riding on the old school 2G connection, surfing along to 3G as with most folks, or have jumped aboard the 4G bandwagon, all of them were out for the count earlier today with tweets and Facebook status updates reporting the same thing.
Good thing T-Mobile was man enough to step up and make an announcement, saying that they have confirmed that just such an issue persists, and a tweet from T-Mobile’s official account mentioned that the “network data issue” affected only a bunch of their customers, which means it is not a nationwide outage – which is a good thing, of course.
