You just cannot quite put a finger on how well a particular device is going to perform in the market, but one thing is for sure – most items with an Apple logo on it these days just cannot do any wrong. Well, RIM’s PlayBook tablet did not really do too well in the general market, but here we are with the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G that has been given a go by the privileged folks over at N4BB and BB FR. What are their initial impressions? Well, this particular tablet that runs alongside 4G connectivity and is powered by software version OS 2.0.1.354 is pretty speedy.

Some say that comes with a speedier dual-core 1.5GHz processor, although there have been speculation that RIM has started to send such tablets to their bunch of corporate partners and other channels of distribution, so that means a launch for the mass market should happen sometime in the near future. BlackBerry Messenger was missing like a sore thumb, although folks with BlackBerry Bridge are able to access BBM.
