If you ever wanted the HTC One V but are a subscriber to Virgin Mobile, then you might look forward to the news of the HTC One V being made available on Virgin Mobile’s network, retailing for $199.99 a pop with a new 2-year contract. This particular smartphone will be made available at national retailers Best Buy, RadioShack and Walmart through July and August. This is one of the three smartphones made available to the world earlier this year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, where its other two brothers would be the flagship HTC One X model, and the cool yet high performance HTC One S.

The HTC One V has the distinction of being the first Virgin Mobile USA phone that will come with HTC ImageSense that is said to deliver improvements to every part of the camera, starting from the lens and going all the way to the sensor and the software. Heck, it even integrates a spanking new custom HTC ImageChip, and these enhancements are said to offer superior image capture speed, great looking photos – as well as the ability to shoot image stills even when you are recording 720p HD video. Other hardware specifications include a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.7″ display, a 1GHz processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system of choice. [Press Release]
