If you bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 on T-Mobile’s network and were hoping that sometime in the future it would be compatible with the carrier’s upcoming 4G LTE network, you’re in for a disappointment. The carrier has announced that despite the same LTE radio  being featured in every Galaxy S3 model in the US, the phone will not be compatible with the carrier’s upcoming LTE network, but will instead remain compatible with the carrier’s HSPA+ 42Mbps network. Granted T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42 is pretty fast, we guess that on paper some would prefer LTE as it is considered to be the future of mobile networks. However if all you use your phone for consists of emails, browsing, the occasional YouTube video and instant messaging, we’re thinking that T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42 network should get you by with no problems.
