Microsoft Surface tablet has only Wi-Fi connectivity?

It seems that there are rumors going around of the new Microsoft Surface tablet coming with just Wi-Fi connectivity, and in other words, it would translate to not having a 3G/4G connection to supplement your need to remain connected wherever you are. This might or might not be true, as you know how rumor mongers work, considering the fact that Microsoft did not step forward to make any official announcement or denial of the Surface’s final and complete system specifications.

Bloomberg reports that folks who are familiar with the tablet’s specifications have expressed themselves, saying the Surface tablet will go up on sale sans any mobile phone network connection, although it will be accompanied by a short-range Wi-Fi connection. This is not the final say though, as it might just change in later models. Would you pick up a Wi-Fi only Surface tablet, or are you all right with only with one that has built-in 3G/4G connectivity as well?
