The new iPad’s WiFi problems will be addressed in a future update

Apple’s new iPad was launched with great success – after all it had a Retina display with a whopping resolution of 2048×1536, LTE connectivity and a brand new camera that seems to have put it on par with the iPhone 4’s camera, however it seems that it did have its fair of share of problems according to several users online, who have reported that the WiFi on their new iPads appears to be much weaker compared to its predecessor and other Apple products. According to one such report:

“My iPad 3rd generation has much worse range than my iPad 1. Two places I use it most My Driveway, and ‘down the hall at work’ iPad 1 (iPhone 4s, and Macbook) all have solid connections. New iPad nothing. not a thing.”

This isn’t the only complaint, but fret not as Apple has acknowledged the issue and has since released a workaround that will hopefully address the problem although they did mention that other WiFi issues will be addressed in an update. In any case if you are experiencing WiFi issues with your new iPad, head on over to the Apple support page in the link above for more info.
