If you’re looking to reach out to T-Mobile in the future by calling their customer service, there is a good chance that you might be put on hold longer than usual. This is because the carrier has recently announced that it will be closing down seven of its call centers, effectively cutting 1,900 jobs which amounts to about 5% of their work force. This is due to the carrier attempting to preserve its cash for investment in its network, which some of you guys might already know will be seeing an upgrade to 4G LTE in 2013. Not all is lost though as T-Mobile has announced that they will be offering 1,400 positions to the affected employees at their remaining 17 call centers.
