Sony Tablet P and Tablet S Japan to receive Android 4.0 update next month

It looks like the rollout of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is certainly moving along at a faster pace compared to Gingerbread 2.3 last year, and if you own the Sony Tablet S or the Tablet P, well you’ll be pleased to learn that Sony will be bumping both tablets to Android 4.0.3 next month, but unfortunately at the moment the update appears to be limited to Japan.

The update will bring about several enhancements and improvements to the tablets’ camera, multitasking along with a host of other Ice Cream Sandwich goodness. Unfortunately no word from Sony when those of us outside of Japan can expect to see the Android 4.0 update, but hopefully the delay between the Japanese launch and the international launch will not be too great.
