Heads up to our readers in Japan, it looks like Sharp is on their way to releasing a brand new 10.1” Android tablet which will add on to their line of 7” tablets. The RW-T110 is expected to ship with a 1GHz TI OMAP processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box. It will also feature NFC technology and will sport a 6,240mAh battery that Sharp claims will allow for 9 hours of continuous use. According to Sharp, the RW-T110 is expected to start shipping come 27th of March and will see an initial launch in Japan, although no word if Sharp has plans to bring the tablet to other countries, although given its specs and its choice of operating system, we’re not sure how well it would be received if it were to make its way to the rest of the world to begin with. In any case we will be keeping our eyes peeled, so check back with us later for more info.
