Panasonic Eluga Power announced

If the Samsung Galaxy Note or the LG Optimus Vu did not impress you, fret not as another contender has entered the ring, offering up another 5” phablet device in the form of the Panasonic Eluga Power. Now we have covered the Panasonic Eluga before and it was basically the Japanese company’s re-entry into the European market, offering customers in Europe an Android handset that has normally been limited to markets such as Japan, but if you’re after a 5” Android device, then perhaps the Eluga Power might be worth checking out.

Sporting a 5” 1280×720 HD LCD display, the Eluga Power packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor under its hood clocked at 1GHz, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing camera and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Panasonic has also included a fast charging feature that will bring the device from 10% to 50% in just 30 minutes, while 10% to 80% will take a little under an hour at 57 minutes. We’re not sure how the Panasonic Eluga Power will hold up against the competition, so we guess we will have to wait and see.
