NEC VersaPro type VZ Windows 7 tablet announced in Japan

In any case, for enterprise owners who are looking for a new tablet, you might want to consider the NEC VersaPro type VZ, a business tablet that will only be available via NEC’s B2B solution.

As far as its specs are concerned, the VersaPro type VZ will feature Windows 7 as its choice of operating system, a 12.1” 1024×768 display that supports both touch and pen inputs, a Celeron 857 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz with 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, WiFI and LTE capabilities courtesy of a Docomo Xi LTE module. While the specs appear to be borderline netbook/laptop, its price thankfully appears to be that of a budget mid-ranged tablet at ¥20,000 (~$241).
