With going green being the trend these days, it seems that even our phones are starting to turn towards the green side, and for those wondering what sort of devices are those, you might want to take a look at the recently announced LG Rumor Reflex that will be headed Sprint’s way this Sunday for $29.99 on a two-year contract with a $50 mail-in rebate.

So what exactly makes the LG Rumor Reflex so eco-friendly? Well according to Sprint, the phone’s outer cover is made from 31% post-consumer recycled materials, a 5-star energy efficient battery charger, it is Carbon-Free certified and will come in a fully recyclable packaging which is printed with soy inks and was put together with a glueless construction.

As far as its tech specs are concerned, the LG Rumor Reflex will sport a 3” WQVGA touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera with video recording capabilities, a microSD card slot for memory expansion plus integrated GPS. Not the most powerful phone we’ve seen, but it should get the job done and help with the environment. [Press release]
