Earlier at MWC, LG unveiled a trio of new handsets (among others) which was part of the company’s new L-series of Android phones. This included the L3, L5 and the L7, with the L3 featuring low-end specs, which is safe to assume that it will be wallet friendly upon its release. Now if the design of the L-series of phones from LG has managed to capture your attention, you will be pleased to learn that LG has plans to launch the LG Optimus L3 in Europe later this month.

For those who might have missed the news, the LG sports a 3.2” “floating mass display”, an 800MHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 150MB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD, a 3MP rear-facing camera, a 1,500mAh battery and will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread preinstalled. It will see its launch in Europe first, but no word from LG when the Optimus L3 will be making its way stateside, so stay tuned!
