We know that there is a good chance Apple will be rolling out iOS 6.0 some time later this year, and will probably be seeing an announcement of sorts at WWDC in the middle of the year much like iOS 5.0. Interestingly it seems that testing iOS 6.0 is currently underway on some iPad tablets according to Ars Technica, whose server logs have recorded several iPad devices from Apple’s HQ in Cupertino visiting their website with iOS 6.0 on board.

It also revealed that several devices with a screen resolution of 2048×1536 stopped by their website, which while not stated if it was the iPad 3, shares the same resolution that the rumors have suggested. It should also be noted that the iPads running on iOS 6.0 are the iPad 3s with the rumored Retina display, and could very well be two completely separate devices all together. Either way we have to admit that we are extremely curious as to what sort of changes iOS 6.0 will be bringing in the future, so stay tuned.
