As expected with the release of new hardware, new software will definitely be accompanying it. In the case of Apple’s new iPad, a new iOS update will be rolling out alongside it, but unfortunately this is not iOS 6.0 (which we assume will be announced at WWDC mid year), but rather the much awaited iOS 5.1. This particular update is expected to address the battery issues that continuously persist, but the good news for our friends and readers in Japan is that the update will also include support for the Japanese language for Siri. iOS 5.1 is already available for download, but for those in Japan they can expect to see the update made available over the next couple of weeks. There are a couple of other added features, improvements and bug fixes, so for more information, pop on over to Apple’s support page.
