Find My Facebook Friends app finally released after two rejections by Apple

We’re not sure why anyone would see the need to constantly track the whereabouts of their Facebook friends, but if you have a group of friends that love to stay in contact even while overseas, then this app might be for you. Dubbed “Find My Facebook Friends”, the app is now available for download via the App Store after having been rejected by Apple twice for being too similar to “Find my Friends” app.

Just like Apple’s “Find My Friends” app, this app works in the same way, but instead of tracking your friends via their Apple ID, this would require you to sign in to your Facebook account and invite your friends whom you plan on tracking. Other features includes a proximity alert for when friends are nearby, and also the ability to send messages with native Facebook app, and set your location preferences based on each friend or lists. For those interested in getting their hands on the app, head on down to the iTunes App Store where you will be able to download a copy for $0.99.
