The Motorola Droid RAZR is not a bad device, but if there’s one thing we’re sure that many RAZR owners are miffed about is the fact that Motorola and Verizon decided to release a DROID RAZR MAXX two months after the RAZR, a device that was not only similar in specs, but featured a battery life double that of the original RAZR. The good news for those who want to experience the same battery life but don’t want to fork out more money for a new phone, is that the Cellphone Repair Shop has created a conversion kit for RAZR owners.

Basically what the kit includes is a 3,300mAh battery, adhesive tape, a back battery cover and a SIM/SD card door. Tools to pry off the back piece of the RAZR will also be provided upon request. Interested buyers can head on down to their website to preorder the necessary parts at a base price of $110, although we’re guessing that price will see an increase if you were to add on tools to that package. However if you think you can wait, the folks at DroidRazr are attempting to set up a group buy in an attempt to drive the price down a bit, so head on over for the details.
