Draw Something to get chat and save features in the future

Draw Something is one of the more popular apps to hit our mobile devices today, and it seems that it was popular enough that Zynga wanted a stake in it and has since bought over OMGPOP, the developer of Draw Something. We’re sure that many are now curious as to what sort of changes will be coming to the game, and in an interview with Tech Crunch, OMGPOP’s chief executive Dan Porter revealed that several changes will be made although it was not revealed as to when those changes were expected to roll out.

For starters, it seems that the app will be getting a chat feature of its own, much like Words With Friends, and it will also come with something like a “save” feature where users can save their drawings, although granted mobile users can pretty much do that now with their phone/tablet’s screenshot function, but perhaps this will make it easier for those who have yet to figure out their device’s screenshot shortcut. When asked if more players could be added to the mix, Zynga cryptically mentioned that they could not talk about that. In any case, fans of the game now have more features to look forward to and personally I can’t wait either!
