Chinese magazine PCM reviews the new iPad ahead of launch much to Apple’s displeasure

The iPad will be going on sale officially this Friday, the 16th of March, which is also when deliveries of the iPad to those who pre-ordered it are expected to go out. Unfortunately it looks like more iPads have fallen through the cracks and have made its way into the hands of a Chinese magazine, PCM, who promptly decided to review the new tablet much to Apple’s displeasure.

According to PCM, once the publication and review hit the news stands, Apple rang them up and notified the magazine that they were refused entry to the press release event on Friday.

“With PCM recent review of the “New iPad”, the editorial department received a phone call from Apple on the 13th of March, which refused us to attend the press conference on Friday without any rational reason. PCM considered this has serious impact on our readers’ right to know, therefore we will hold protest against it.”

What do you guys think? Do you think Apple is right in denying PCM from their press release, or do you think PCM was wronged and that Apple should be more upset at the delivery companies rather than PCM?
