Interested in the ASUS Padfone? The device was revealed last year, but made an appearance this year at MWC which saw some upgrades to its hardware and software, so if you were planning to get your hands on the tablet/smartphone hybrid, according to ASUS’s Google+ account, the Padfone will be seeing a launch in April. No word on pricing or availability in which markets, but ASUS did say that further details will be revealed in the next few weeks, so we guess we will be keeping an eye out.

As far as its specs are concerned, for those who might have missed the news, the ASUS Padfone sports a 4.3” Super AMOLED qHD 960×540 display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with an Adreno 225 GPU, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, SonicMaster sound system, a 1,520mAh battery and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device can also be attached to a tablet (pictured above), which not only docks the smartphone but allows for a tablet-like experience as well.
