Archos teases high-end G10 xs series of Android tablets

With the success of the ASUS Transformer Prime, we guess we can’t say that we’re surprised to learn that Archos might be interested in giving the Transformer Prime a run for its money in the form of the company’s upcoming G10 xs range of Android tablets. This will be highest end of Android tablets to be produced by the company, with the Arnovas sitting at the bottom, followed by the Archos Elements range. Unfortunately the specs of the G10 xs range has been outed, although we can only expect to see the launch of the new tablets come September, so safe to say it will launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the very least, along with what appears to be an optional keyboard dock accessory, putting it right smack in competition with ASUS.

Archos’ Arnova range of tablets are expected to cost between 50 GBP to 150 GBP, while the Google Certified Arnovas will retail anywhere between 129 GBP to 199 GBP, and the G10 xs range will be priced from 200 GBP upwards.
