So we know the new iPad is a pretty hot item, but just how hot is it? Well according to Apple and the Apple online store, it seems that it is a pretty darn popular piece of hardware! For those who failed to place their preorders in a timely manner, it looks like the 16th of March delivery date will not be possible for you guys anymore as Apple has reportedly sold out of pre-order units. Depending on which country you’re in, the shipping times have been pushed back to the 19th of March, while other countries are reporting 22nd of March as well.
However for those who were prompt in placing their pre-orders, some users have reported that they have received notification emails informing them that their tablets have begun to ship from China, although they will not be delivered until the 16th itself. The new iPad is also slated for release in 26 other countries come the 23rd of March, so if your country wasn’t in the first batch to receive the iPads, fret not as your time will come soon!
