Apple will give you up to $320 for your iPad 2

So you’ve gotten yourself an iPad 2, but now that you’ve seen what the new iPad has to offer, you’re thinking that maybe you’d rather get your hands on that instead. Instead of forking out another couple hundred for a new tablet, Apple has updated its Reuse and Recycling program that includes trade-in values for the iPad 2 and will be giving you Apple Store gift cards in exchange for your iPad 2.

Naturally Apple will give owners a lower value if the iPad has been scuffed, engraved, poor battery, missing parts (i.e. no power cord), water damage, cracks, etc. So far it seems the highest that Apple will be willing to give for a 64GB iPad 2 WiFi + 3G model is $320 – granted not a lot compared to what you paid for it, but instead of collecting dust at home, you could end up getting some money back for it.

In any case, for those interested, pop on over to Apple’s website for more information and the different prices you could theoretically get with a “perfect” condition iPad.
