Apple sues Chinese company over “EPAD” name

Apple is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Proview, a Chinese company who claims that Apple did not legally purchase the trademark rights to the iPad moniker. Well it seems that this time around, Apple is doing the same to a different company, EBox Digital Technology Product, a Chinese company that manufactures laptop luggage cases who has referred to their brand as “EPAD”.

Granted the EPAD moniker is pretty close to iPad, it seems that the company has absolutely no plans to utilize that name on any electronic devices, but it looks like Apple is not taking no for an answer, and are now asking EBox to give up the trademark rights to the EPAD name. What do you guys think? Does Apple have a case here, or are they simply being a bully because they can?
