87% of iPhone 4S owners reportedly use Siri once a month

When Apple launched the iPhone 4S with Siri being one of its touted features, it was met with a lot of criticism, praises and plenty of parody videos that poked fun at Apple’s voice assistant feature. While it certainly has its uses as demonstrated on stage by Apple, there have been several reviews and reports of Siri that have painted it as being a novelty feature rather than a feature that iOS users are dying to have, but apparently those reviews make up a small portion as far as critics are concerned.

It appears that in a survey conducted by Parks Associates of 482 iPhone 4S owners, a staggering 87% say that they use Siri at least once a month to make phone calls, send text messages and to find information, although not many are asking the voice assistant to play songs or to schedule meetings, both of which are features advertised by Apple. The survey also revealed that 55% of iPhone 4S owners are satisfied with Siri, while a small percentage of 9% were revealed to be unsatisfied.

Of course those figures don’t represent iPhone 4S users around the world, but what do you guys think? iPhone 4S owners out there, are you truly satisfied with the way Siri works, or do you agree that it is a novelty feature that still needs to have its kinks ironed out?
