So we know that ZTE has a couple of handsets lined up for MWC 2012, but it looks like we will be adding one more to that list with the ZTE Mimosa X. What makes this particular phone so special is that it will be the first time NVIDIA’s technology will be used to power the major processors within the device, and in this case the phone will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor along with an NVIDIA Icera modem.

The modem will allow for 14 HSPA+ speeds along with IceClear interference cancellation technology, a 4.3” 960×540 display, a rear-facing 5MP camera with HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing camera, 4GB of internal storage and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as its choice of operating system.

The ZTE Mimosa X will also feature A2DP, Dolby Sound, DLNA compatibility with access to NVIDIA’s TegraZone. No word on how much it will cost, but it is expected to go on sale in Q2 2012, so check back with us during MWC for more info. [Press release]
