Heads up Droid X owners, an update is headed your way with a pretty long list of bug fixes, improvements and whatnot. Unfortunately while this is not the highly anticipated Android 4.0 update, we guess there are plenty of Droid X owners out there who would appreciate an update nonetheless. The update is rolling out now with the version number v4.5.621.MB810, and the bad news is that updating to the latest update will be breaking root access to your phone. Based on the feedback and comments, it seems that it is easy to regain root access, so all is not lost. If you have yet to receive the notification reminding you of the update, fret not as we’re sure that it will eventually get around to you, or you can always opt to pull it manually. If you’d like to see the changelog, pop on over to Verizon’s website for the details.
