US Cellular to launch Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy S Aviator LTE devices

While US Cellular may not be the biggest carrier around, they have recently taken the wraps off two LTE capable devices that will be arriving on their network – the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator, with the former expecting to see a launch in March, while the latter is expected to arrive in April. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a familiar device to many and it seems that its specs will not differ from the other versions that have been launched on other networks and around the world.

The Galaxy S Aviator on the other hand seems to sport some form of resemblance to Verizon’s Droid Charge. It will feature a 4.3” WVGA s-AMOLED Plus display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing webcam and will run on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread as its choice of operating system. US Cellular is expected to throw on the switch for their 4G LTE network next month, which would make the arrival and availability of both devices rather timely, although we’re guessing the Galaxy Tab 10.1 might be considered slightly outdated then. Either way US Cellular subscribers can look forward to two LTE capable devices for use with the carrier’s new LTE network.
