If you own the Toshiba Thrive 10” tablet, you’ll be pleased to hear that Android 4.0 will be headed your way. Toshiba was asked this question by a customer, and surprisingly despite the tablet not exactly being the most popular choice, they replied that they were aiming for a Spring release of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update! While no specific date was mentioned, it’s good to know that despite some devices or brands not as popular as the rest, they are still making an effort to reduce the Android fragmentation by rolling out these updates. Unfortunately Toshiba did not mention if and when the 10” Thrive’s smaller sibling, the 7” version, will receive an Android 4.0 update of its own.
