Siri reveals she can speak Japanese, update imminent?

Published

on

iPhone 4S owners in the US, UK, Australia, France and Germany have probably experimented quite a bit with Siri, the voice assistant software that is exclusive to the iPhone 4S. The software at the moment is able to recognize the English language (UK and Australian dialects as well), French and German, so what about everyone else from around the world?

Well Apple revealed a while back that support for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian and Spanish would be added later in 2012, but perhaps Siri might have gotten ahead of itself (herself?) when it revealed that it speaks Japanese (as pictured above). Could this really be a leak and that the update for additional language/dialect support is on its way? Check back with us again for more updates!
