Looking for a new tablet? If you have been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 ever since its launch, you will be pleased to hear that the tablet will be available on Verizon’s network starting from the 1st of March. It will cost you $499.99 with a new two-year contract and will also feature compatibility with Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

For those who might have forgotten about the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the tablet will feature a 1.4GHz dual-core processor under its hood, a built-in HTML5 browser, a 7.7” Super AMOLED Plus 1280×800 display, a 3.2MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. If you were hoping to see Android 4.0 on the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the bad news is that it will be launched with Android 3.2 Honeycomb instead, although we wouldn’t exactly rule out the possibility of it seeing an update to Android 4.0 in the future.
