Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 4.0

If you’re in the market for a new tablet, Samsung has recently announced the Galaxy Tab 2, which based on its name, will be the successor to the South Korean company’s original 7” Galaxy Tab Android device. However unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 2 will be seeing quite a few upgrades and will be seeing a launch in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark next month, although no word on when the rest of the world will be able to get their hands on it.

As far as its hardware is concerned, the Galaxy Tab 2 will feature a 7” display (much like its predecessor), a dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM under its hood, a 3MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery and will come in either 16GB of 32GB storage size options. The good news is that the Galaxy Tab 2 will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preloaded along with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top. Anyone else looking forward to it?
