Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes before a phone is put out into the market? Well the good folks at RIM has decided to share that with us in the form of quality control, well to be more specific – durability testing. The videos below show off the different types of durability tests that RIM puts their Blackberry phones through. This includes immersing them in water to see which areas of the phone allow leaks to seep through, dropping them onto the ground and filming it at a whopping 2000 frames per second, and because RIM knows that there are users who love stuffing their phones into their back pockets, they also conducted bend testing. Check out the videos below for some cringeworthy footage of Blackberry devices getting abused in the name durability.
